Pergola Design & Outdoor Living Concept
3D Visualization of a Functional and Aesthetic Outdoor Structure.
A 3D pergola design exploring structure, shade, and spatial integration to enhance outdoor living environments.
This project presents a pergola design developed to define and elevate an outdoor space through structure and simplicity. The concept focuses on creating a balanced environment that offers partial shade while maintaining openness, light, and connection to the surrounding landscape.
Pergolas are characterized by a framework of vertical posts supporting an open roof of beams or rafters, allowing filtered sunlight and airflow while structuring outdoor areas. (Master Landscape Design)
This design explores how such a structure can enhance usability—whether for relaxation, dining, or gathering—while acting as a strong architectural feature that integrates seamlessly with the built environment.
This was Designed and built on a 24’x 14′ front deck as a free standing structure. The planters were made to have a internal reservoir that can hold up to 3.67 cubic ft/103 liters of water which can keep the soil moist for 2 weeks in hot, sunny weather.
