Several years ago, the creation of The Throne Room, spanning an impressive 6000 square feet, stands as a testament to the unparalleled beauty in set design. Delve into the intricate process, where massive blocks of foam were meticulously carved into elaborate shapes and profiles for crafting plaster structures resilient to fire and heat.

From a few years ago; The Throne Room, at 6000sf, was one of the most beautiful sets I’ve modeled in Set Design. (See Side-by-Side, Photo/Model at my Portfolio site)
Huge blocks of foam were carved into intricate shapes and profiles, CnC cut, or used as a mould for making plaster structures that could withstand fire and heat. We printed, in-house, the vinyl floor and covered it with layers of clear coat to make it look like polished tile.
