Exploring the Artistry of Stone Coursing & Tile Design
In this endeavor, we adeptly laid out the coursing of the stone, presenting a comprehensive Cut Sheet detailing tile sizes, styles, and precise placement.
This was an example project we did for Red Leaf Stone to show the capabilities of SketchUp. Here I was able to layout the Coursing of the stone, and provide a Cut Sheet of all the tile sizes, styles and placement.
While we didn’t provide the final drawings to the Architect, we are pleased to see that much of the layout (as you can see ‘Side-by-Side’ photo and model) is very similar.
What iscoursing of the stone?
Coursing stone is primarily used to face an interior or exterior wall, or for cladding walls or pillars that are within a landscape design.
