Randy Hutniak is a SketchUp 3D Modeling Professional based in Vancouver BC, Canada. He is working primarily in the local Film Industry for over 20 years as a Set Designer, Assistant Art Director, and Art Director.

He uses SketchUp in his everyday workflow and has modeled everything from castles to the furniture that goes in them. This versatility gives Randy the ability to create and tailor lessons for almost any industry.

Prior to this, in 1991, I received a Business Degree in Hospitality Management and worked in hotels climbing to the position of Food and Beverage Manager. During this period I also became a Consultant for that industry and conducted Feasibility Studies for new and existing properties which included designing Restaurants, Kitchens, and Bars. Thus started my design career.
