Randy is a Trimble Accredited SketchUp Trainer, certified in 2017, and a seasoned 3D Modeling Professional based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
With a rich design background spanning over 25 years in Set Design and Art Direction in the local Film Industry, Randy’s work involves crafting immersive environments that breathe life into scripts, while collaborating closely with Production Designers, Directors and Production Teams to visualize and bring their creative visions to fruition.
Additionally he offers freelance services to General Contractors, Product Developers, and fellow Designers.
His journey into design began with a foundation in Hospitality Management, culminating in a Business Degree obtained in 1991. He honed his skills in hotel management, eventually ascending to the role of Food and Beverage Manager. During this tenure, he diversified into consulting for the hospitality industry, conducting detailed Feasibility Studies for new and existing properties. This phase of his career involved designing Restaurants, Kitchens, and Bars, marking the genesis of his passion for design.
Today, he integrates his extensive experience in design and hospitality with advanced technological skills, striving to innovate and deliver impactful visual solutions. Whether he is creating intricate film sets or designing functional architectural models, his goal remains consistent: to transform concepts into compelling, tangible designs that captivate and inspire.
